How I Show Up

As a current school leader with over 15 years in education, I see up close how hard this work really is. There are always competing priorities, limited time, and a long list of initiatives that all feel urgent. Leading people, supporting staff, and keeping momentum going while staying aligned can feel like trying to move everything forward at once.

I know what it feels like when good, important work starts to stall. Not because people do not care, but because systems get messy, clarity fades, or the work becomes overwhelming. I have lived that reality as a teacher, coach, and school leader, and I have also seen what is possible when teams are given the right structures, support, and space to grow.

Throughout my career, I have partnered with schools to improve academic outcomes, strengthen teacher retention, and build positive student culture. I have supported leaders in building and implementing coaching systems, facilitating professional learning that leads to real changes in practice, and navigating high-stakes moments like charter renewals and WASC accreditation. Each experience has reinforced the same lesson for me. Sustainable progress happens when leaders have clarity, alignment, and systems that support the work.
